Our StorY

My name is Magdalena, though friends call me Magda.
In 2014, while designing the label for a dear friend’s extra virgin olive oil, I caught myself whispering a simple wish: “I wish I had an olive orchard and could produce my own olive oil…”
It wasn’t a grand declaration, but a quiet thought that surfaced as I worked with colors, typography, and the visual identity of something I deeply admired.
Ten years later, in October 2024, my husband and I stood beside our very first olive harvest in Tuscany.
Our own orchard.
Our own olives.
Our own extra virgin olive oil.
Looking back, it feels as though that small, whispered wish took root the moment it was spoken, growing patiently beneath the surface of our lives until it became reality. I have always believed that the life we create is shaped by the things we love, the choices we make, and the devotion we bring to them.
Some dreams unfold quickly. Others ask for patience. But when they are nurtured with intention, they have a way of finding their moment.
This olive oil is the result of such a journey.

From Rome to Seattle to Tuscany

Our story began in Rome. Scott and I met there: two people from different parts of the world, brought together in the Eternal City by a shared curiosity for life, beauty, and meaning.
In the early years, we wandered through Europe together, collecting memories along cobblestone streets, cafés, museums, and long conversations. Eventually, life brought us to the United States, but Italy never truly left our hearts.
Years later, we returned to Tuscany to celebrate my 50th birthday.
What was meant to be a short getaway, soon became something else entirely.
Driving through the rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, and olive groves, we decided, almost spontaneously, to visit a few properties, simply out of curiosity.
And then we found The place.
A house tucked beside a forest of oak trees, surrounded by an olive orchard and resting near the ancient Via Romea.
The moment we stepped onto the land, something shifted.
Standing among the silvery olive trees, we could immediately imagine a slower, richer life rooted in beauty, intention, and connection to the land.
What began as a birthday trip quietly became the beginning of a new life chapter.
A home in Tuscany. An olive orchard. A new life rhythm. And the beginning of our olive oil journey… that did not stop there.
In 2025, we were given the opportunity (destiny, really) to be part of a joint adventure together with our friend Peter.
A couple of months later we found a third olive orchard, one that had been at risk of being abandoned. What we saw was not simply another piece of land, but a place full of potential, history, and life waiting to be cared for again.
Becoming its new custodians felt deeply aligned with everything this project represents to us: preservation, renewal, respect for tradition, and a long-term commitment to the Tuscan landscape.
Our olive oil is born from this philosophy.

Produced from hand-harvested olives grown on our Tuscan land, our oil is crafted with deep respect for quality, and the extraordinary simplicity of nature done well.

Sharing it with others feels like the natural completion of the circle: a dream once imagined, now bottled and ready to become part of your own table and rituals.

Thank you for being part of our story.
